Kristina Marsden Appointed CEO of SkyScout Ai Innovations Inc.

Vancouver, September 3rd, 2024 — SkyScout Ai Innovations Inc., a leading fire detection and drone technology company developing a first-of- its-kind protection, detection and response system for fire mitigation, is pleased to announce that Kristina Marsden has been appointed as the new CEO while continuing to serve on its board of directors.

Marsden is one of Canada’s leading executors of aerial firefighting innovations. As the former Director of Programs & Production at Conair Aerial Firefighting, Marsden led Conair’s aircraft modification and production program, bringing into service the world’s most advanced aerial firefighting and emergency response aircraft. She also played a key role in modernizing the largest civilian aerial fire-fighting fleet, with over eighty aircraft operating globally.

“I’m thrilled to take on the role of CEO at SkyScout,” said Marsden. “Having been deeply involved with the company’s mission and technology as a board member, I am eager to lead our team and advance our Ai powered technology and drone network. While also protecting homes, critical infrastructure, and communities with non-toxic fire inhibitor, CitroTech. SkyScout’s technology will be a powerful tool in the fight to protect, detect and respond to wildfires at the earliest stage.”

Chairman Mark Godsy expressed his support for Marsden’s appointment, stating, “Having a seasoned executive and fire-fighting expert such as Kristina at the helm is a major step forward for SkyScout. Her leadership and vision will be instrumental as we expand our technology’s reach and impact in the fight against wildfires.” Godsy also extended the board’s gratitude to outgoing CEO Scott Shepherd, noting, “The board sincerely thanks Scott Shepherd for his dedicated leadership and significant contributions during his tenure. His efforts have laid a strong foundation for SkyScout’s future growth and success.”
