Chief Executive Officer
Kristina Marsden
Kristina is a demonstrated leader and talented executor within the aviation and aerospace industry. Formerly, Director of Programs & Production at Conair Aerial Firefighting, she led the business’ aircraft modification and production program. Bringing into service the world’s most modern aerial firefighting and missionized emergency response aircraft, with over twenty now operating globally. She spent her early career working on rotary wing contract implementations for offshore transport services in the oil and gas industry across North, Central and South America. Kristina brings 15+ years of complex operational experience to Sky Scout AI and is accomplished in bringing world class quality innovative products and services to market.

Almaz Nanjappa
Almaz is currently an entrepreneur-in-residence at NYCA Partners where he is responsible for driving new product initiatives. He is a versatile innovator with successful exits in various industries that span finance, retail, IoT, and software services. and the founder of Virtual Visions, where he is currently innovating with Smart Glass Technology to bring augmented reality to consumers. Virtual Visions is responsible for all in-store technology experiences for retailers like Lululemon, Uniqlo, Nordstrom, CVS, Zales to name a few. Former CTO of Razor Scooters, SVP of Research and Innovation at Softvision Cognizant post-acquisition of his software services company Momentus Software and co-founder of Aven Inc. which delivered the world’s first asset-backed credit card.

Chief Operations Officer & Co-Founder
Geoff Griffiths
Geoff comes to SkyScout with 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including 4yrs as Head of Operations for a Vancouver based biopharma start-up. He brings a broad spectrum of experience to SkyScout including marketing, market access, government relations/policy, commercial development, sales management, company formation, investor relations, capital raising, and operations management. Geoff is also the former Director of Biosimilar Development at Mylan, and Chairman of the Board of the Down Syndrome Research Foundation.

Philip Reece
Philip has started and successfully built companies in IT, aviation, oil and gas, and control and instrumentation, taking him from one end of the world to the other. With a background of tech start-up and commercial aviation, the work of unmanned aerial systems was logical for Philip, who founded InDro Robotics. Philip is also a member of the CanaDAC -TC Drone Advisory Committee, a Director of the Aerial Evolution Society of Canada, and Co-Founder of History Speaking. Formerly, Philip was a partner of Saltspring Air, and CEO of PayProDirect.

Mark Godsy, LL.B.
Mark has for over 30 years been a successful serial entrepreneur. Using his unique ability to build multi-disciplinary teams and navigate new concepts that can be both financed and commercialized, he has founded and built many companies over his career. Currently, Mark is Chairman of Code Zero, co-founder and founding Chairman of Mojio, and co-founder & CEO of Shackelford Pharma. Previously, Mark co-founded ID Biomedical & Angiotech Pharmaceutical, & served as founding CEO and Chair of Exro Technologies.

Frank Borowicz, K.C.
Frank has over 40 years’ experience in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, conflict resolution and risk management. He is a Governor of The Vancouver Board of Trade, having served as Chairman and Chief Elected Officer., and is an independent director of several public and private companies, including Hemisphere Energy (TSXV:HME), Octopus Technologies, and Embrace Productions. A retired partner of the international law firm Davis LLP (DLA Piper), he was a founding faculty member of the University of Victoria Law School, and also served as a Director of the BC International Commercial Arbitration Center, as an Honorary Consul of Sri Lanka, and as Chairman of the BC Industry Training Authority.

Miro Cernetig
Miro develops brand strategies for private and public companies. An award-winning journalist who has reported from around the world, he brings his proven story-telling and public policy knowledge to building companies. The dozens of brands he has helped build and execute have been instrumental in winning public and regulatory approval, as well as raising investment interest, for endeavors that are today valued in multi-billion-dollars.
He is the founder of Catalytico ~ ideas in motion, his multi-media branding and documentary production firm. He is also co-founder of CityAge, a global network of leaders building the world’s cities. He lives in Vancouver, Canada.

Hugh Notman
Hugh is Managing Director of CCC Investment Banking, a leading national mid-market investment banking firm with offices in Toronto and Vancouver, focused exclusively on corporate finance for private and publicly traded companies. Hugh serves on the board of the Bishop’s College School Foundation and its Investment Committee, as well as the UBC Thunderbird Golf Society, and the UBC Thunderbird Athletic Council. Corporately, Hugh has been a director of several private and public company boards, and holds the Institute of Corporate Directors’ ICD.D designation.
